  • What methods do we use to find qualified candidates in a timely manner?

We use a variety of methods to source potential candidates:

  • We maintain our own proprietary database of professionals who are actively involved in a job search program,

  • We utilize personal referrals provided by our network of industry contacts, 

  • We have a strategic alliance with a number of other firms and job relocation organizations,

  • We utilize various Internet “job boards”.

It is the combination of the above that significantly enhances our candidate search capabilities.

  • Recruiting firms often submit candidates who are not properly qualified against the job requirements.  How does Strategic Horizons handle this aspect of its responsibilities?

The screening of candidates is performed by individuals who posses extensive Information Systems experience and effective interviewing skills.  This ensures that the proper level of screening is done by our resources and not by our clients.

All qualified candidates are interviewed in-person, at which time a work history profile is created and a detailed skills assessment is done against the client's requirements.

Only those candidates that we feel meet the job requirements and would be a fit in our client's environment are presented.

  • What is "One and Done"?

Many times we will present only one (or two) of the most suitable candidates for a position.  This means that we take our job of screening potential candidates seriously. The positive impact to our clients is that we offload this activity from the human resource staff and hiring manager and help achieve a  faster time to hire.

  • What other value-added services can we provide?

As part of our ongoing service commitment, and at no additional charge, we can provide onsite recruiting professionals, on an as needed basis.  During periods of intense hiring activity this would ensure that we are even more readily accessible to our clients' Human Resources staff and hiring managers and are able to assist throughout the hiring cycle.
